A TRUE STORY Sanad From a bamboo rod to the FishPro

He was five years old. A bamboo rod, a length of line, one small hook, and a piece of bread for bait.

His father sat beside him and taught him the hardest part of fishing: to wait.

Then the line moved. A small fish on a big evening, and a boy who never wanted to leave the water again.

Next came a double kayak. Two paddles, one plan: go a little further than last time. From a seat just above the sea, he learned to read it: where the bait flickers, where the current bends, when to stay still.

Then a kayak of his own, and the big questions. Why do fish bite on one tide and ignore you on the next? He started to study the science: tides, pressure, moon, water colour, depth. And the fish grew bigger.

A barracuda became his first big fish. Then came the open sea: tuna that pull harder than anything he had felt, a deck covered with the day's catch, and the pride of bringing fish home to the family table.

Today he fishes from his own Sea-Doo FishPro Apex. Three hundred horsepower, a fish finder, seven rod holders. And the same first mate as always: Dad.
